Founder & Principal Attorney
Joumana Kayrouz
Joumana Kayrouz is one of the most recognized personal injury attorneys in Michigan and the only woman to own a major personal injury firm in the state. Originally from the Middle East, she came to the United States and studied at Yale before trading a path in pre-med for the law, inspired by the power of legal advocacy.
She built her practice under the mentorship of Harry Filo at the renowned Philo Atkinson firm, where she learned that the true purpose of tort law is the prevention of injury, and when that fails, holding corporations accountable through compensation.
A woman who succeeded against the odds in a male-dominated field, Joumana has hired more than 200 attorneys over her career and settled more than 40,000 cases. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and serves clients in English, Arabic, French, and Italian.
Through her “Your Rights” radio show, broadcast live every day, she has made the law accessible to the people who need it most.
She is the most trusted attorney in the Middle Eastern community nationwide and serves as an ambassador for the largest Middle Eastern charity in the United States, yet she brings the same dedication to every client, regardless of background.
